	Dr. Magoc earned a BS in Mathematics with minor in Computer Science and a MS in Mathematics from UTEP, all while on a tennis scholarship. She then worked five years as a full-time lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at UTEP and as Director of Modular Precalculus program. She earned her Ph.D. is in Computer Science in May 2009, also from UTEP.
	Her research interests include: decision making and its applications, computational finance, data mining and data modeling, and artificial intelligence in general.
