Bren Worth

Bren Worth won his first computer through a Duncan Hines mail-in contest! Though he was intrigued with his new toy, at that time he had no idea that he would eventually earn a four-year degree in Computer Science.
After exploring Aerospace Engineering (at UC Boulder) and Mechanical Engineering, Bren became a convert to CS after taking a C++ course with Ray Bell and continuing on to robot programming.
He plans to put the knowledge that he has gained in the computer science B.S. program to good use by launching a new company, eConcessions, which he partners with Matt Cory. This company will provide automated transaction and operations management systems that will allow patrons at games to order food, drinks, and more from the comfort of their seat using their cellular telephones or other wireless devices. eConcessions is Bren's second attempt at launching his own business. Although his first venture was unsuccessful he feels confident that he will triumph the second time around.
Bren does plan to go to graduate school to earn a master's once his business is established. He is interested in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and is eager to continue the research he began under the tutelage of Mr. Bell.
When asked what words of advice he would want to give to people who would read this piece about him, Bren's response was immediate: "I would tell them to never be afraid to explore their ideas to the fullest extent and that the only real failure is to stop trying. I didn't stop trying after my first business failed and I am sure that this time things will take off for me!"
