8/27 Please bring your laptop to tomorrow's class (Wed, 8/28) for an in-class coding exercise. We will review GUI frameworks in general and then write a simple GUI program in Java (see the Lecture notes page).

8/13 The course textbook is J. F. DiMarzio's Beginning Android Programming with Android Studio (4th edition, Wrox/John Wiley & Sons, 2017). An electronic book is available for free to authorized UTEP users through UTEP library [e-book]; use VPN from outside the UTEP domain.
