Summary of Research
- I am mainly interested in the mathematical foundations of non-monotonic reasoning, in the semantics of logic programs, in the use of defaults in commonsense knowledge, in the formal representation of properties of actions, and in the formalization of revising, updating and combining knowledge bases. I am also interested in deductive, object-oriented and multimedia databases; particularly in developing query languages for them.
