After you have tentatively chosen classes for the upcoming semester, setup an appointment with the Graduate Advisor, Luc Longpré, in room 227, to obtain approval. The Graduate Advisor will verify your progress in the program, check your choices, and sign the "advising form". This can then be used to register for classes. Registration problems involving prerequisites or full classes, are generally resolved using the course waiver procedure. You may also consult Beatriz Tarango in the main office, or the Graduate Program Coordinator, Aida Gandara , in room 204; be sure to provide your student ID and the 5 digit number of the troublesome course. Academic questions --- for example involving transferring credits or taking classes outside the department --- should be addressed to the Graduate Advisor. Others questions, for example letters verifying and issues can generally be solved by the Graduate Program Coordinator, Aida Gandara, in room 204. |
