Evaluations CS100 Introduction to Computers Spring 1999
- It's very difficult so early
in the morning.
- Professor Roach knows the
subject very well but is very difficult to follow if you know nothing
about computers.
- Again, his knowledge was
great but too many "big words and computer talk" were used.
I think you make the 100 level class too
difficult. I know you told us that if we're here because it's required,
that we should leave. But the fact is that it is required.
- The designation "100" does not imply
"free of content", "no time required", or "no
effort necessary". It simply means that the prerequisites include
only standard college preparatory high school knowledge and ability.
- He is so smart, but I am such
a beginner --It would be nice to come down to my level. I'm just now
making sense of all this!
- Good presentation. Very good
in helping me understand all subjects.
- If you have no knowledge of
you will fall behind.
- Goes to fast for beginners.
- Very encouraging &
helpful.
- I felt like he rushed through
things & didn't explain @ all.
- Instructor was very thorough
in his presentations.
- Maybe it was just teaching
style, but what I learned in this class I
did by myself.
- Congratulations!
You have achieved the highest state of learning which I hoped you would.
The labs are designed for you to discover how to learn on your own. It
brings me great satisfaction that you have done so.
- You made everything easier to
understand.
- I really learned a lot.
- For beginners, he is too
complex!
- Dr. Roach is very good about
helping the student understand activities.
