Course Description:
Artificial Intelligence is the study of how to make computers do things at which, at the moment, people are better. In this course we will look at what those things are, why they are hard for computers, what techniques we do have available for getting computers to do them, and what the future seems likely to hold.

Textbook:
Reading and some of the assignments will be drawn from Artificial Intelligence: A modern Approach, Second Edition, by Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig. Note that photocopied textbooks are a violation of copyright law. Any student caught with a photocopied book will be referred to the Dean of Students for discipline.
