Details of Project

The Performance-oriented Models and Mechanisms for Multi-core based Multiprocessor Systems (POM4S) consists of a collaboration among UTEP, NMSU, and Stanford University as part of AHPCRC TA4, HPC Enabling Technologies and Advanced Algorithmic Development that tries to target the Army computational challenges and produce solutions.

Critical Army Challenges:
Given the new era of “pervasive parallelism”,  computing systems and advanced algorithm capabilities need to be developed along with new computing models to make efficient use of innovations in computer architecture

Army Mission Impact:
Efficient and reliable HPC libraries and computational tools will have a significant impact on the engineering and scientific communities of the Army and DoD.
