ECELd Network-Subsystem

Overview

In addition to the lack of data sets for cybersecurity data, there is a need for standardization not only for labeling data, but also in tools that enable analysts and researchers a way to facilitate and enforce those standards. The evaluator-centric and extensible logger daemon network-subsystem (ECELd-netsys) is the controlling software that connects ECELd and ECELd-wireshark to enable a centralized and intuitive system for data curation. This system provides a user interface for running the underlying software and it runs on at least 6 different versions of the Linux Operating System, including Kali 2020. .
