Protocol Dissector Builder

Overview

Network protocols are often complex and require the authors of the specifications to develop these protocols from scratch. This is a time-intensive task that is often left to subject matter experts. However, this is an important aspect in the network testing process. The Protocol Dissector Builder facilitates the process of creating network protocol parsers, this software system provides users with a graphical, drag-and-drop, interface to create data fields and export them as Wireshark dissectors.
