Overview

Cybersecurity deception is a promising solution to limit adversary capabilities. Several researchers have provided solutions in the theoretical space. Lacking, however, are mechanisms that enable testing and comparative analysis of these systems. The cybersecurity deception and experimentation system (CDES) is a CORE-based system that enables analysts and researchers to test and validate cyber deception algorithms by incorporating dynamic and conditional connections into network scenarios. .
